Since I was a kid, I have always been taking pictures, on my parents' phones, on point and shoots, and eventually on my first Pentax K1000. Only in college did that translate to cinematography.
A former student of Penn State's film program, I was fully immersed in hands-on low-budget filmmaking, which has shaped much of the work I'm drawn to today. You don't need millions if you have the right story.
Since moving to New York in early 2026, I've explored commercial gigs, reality television, and independent film. It's been a journey finding what's for me.
Editing many of my own projects and learning to animate to make a longstanding vision come to life has led me to resourcefulness in the rest of my work.
The majority of my projects are self-initiated and done with my fellow young filmmakers and close friends. I'm focused on capturing images of people and nature, both in portraiture and in motion. I find authentic human stories the most emotionally engaging and am heavily inspired by the work of Mike Mills, Nan Goldin, and Chloe Zhao.
